New York City is currently filled with a diverse group of fashion bloggers flocking to cover New York Fashion Week and I am one of them! So far I have three years of New York Fashion Week coverage under my heels ;), which is why I think it’s high time that I share what I actually wear during fashion week. This is a quick street style edition of two looks I pieced together mostly from T.J.MAXX and my closet.
Accompanying and assisting me this fashion week was my girlfriend Danielle Gray (this was her first fashion week experience).
We checked into the Yotel Hotel in Manhattan located just a few blocks from Times Square, quickly freshened up, then off to our first fashion show!
Japna top, Joe B by Joe Benbasset pants, Madden Girl pink pumps, and accessories Betsy Johnson. I was going for a casual yet fun flirty look to cruise the streets of New York. The splash of pink from the Japna top flowed perfectly with my pink pumps and the pants gives this look a high fashion feel to an easy breezy everyday look!
Chambrai shirt, Mossimo denim jeans, Betsey Johnson accessories, and red Volcom flats. This look was actually inspired from The Real Housewife of New York City fashionista Kristen Taekman. Never be afraid to buttoned up your blouse to the collar, just add a bold statement piece to add that feminine touch! I wore flats simply because of the non stop walking while covering New Fashion Week which equaled super sore feet, but typically I would wear heels. One tip I can give you fashionistas is to always pack a fun pair of colorful flats.
Hope you all enjoyed this quick street style blog! Wish it could be longer but the fashion shows are calling my name! Continue to follow our Runway tab for the latest on your favorite designers Spring/Summer 2016 collections.
