This wine explorer discovered a new wine this week. Campo Viejo Tempranillo! It’s a cherry red colour, has a rich gentle sweet aroma of ripe red fruits with spices and vanilla, and is one of the most famous of all Rioja wines.
Quick background history on Campo Viejo Tempranillo Rioja wine. Rioja is Spain’s premier wine-growing region and the native home of the Tempranillo grape. The area has a long tradition of winemaking that dates back to the Roman Empire.
I chose to pair my bottle of Campo Viejo Tempranillo red wine with another new discovery this week. Veggie Patch Tuscan Meatless meatballs!!
Before I get questions on wether I’m vegetarian- the answer is no. I simply do my best to eat wise and eat happy! Veggie Patch Tuscan Meatless Meatballs are packed with 15g of protein and has no genetically modified ingredients. These meatballs taste so good, my boys has no idea I served them veggie meatball. HA!
