It’s that time of the season ladies-that hit or miss fashion statement every fall/ winter season-the over-the-knee boots. A stylish look that seems effortless when flipping through magazines such as VOGUE, ELLE, or, PEOPLE. It’s a look that every celebrity nails but in real life it’s not so easy to pull off- trust me I have had a few misses myself LOL. I thought to myself go check out what other fashion editors or bloggers are doing and how are they achieving this editorial/runway look. I could have easily taken my own photos to show you gals how I look in over-the-knee boots but these women look awesome! After reading this you just might find yourself running to your nearest department store to snag a pair. Be inspired by these great tips.
This look from Style Pantry. Olive color quilted dress with black boots. Remember over the knee boots already make a huge statement. I love that she kept her accessories simple.
This look from The View From 5’2. This gives me inspiration because I am also 5’2. Easily achievable- black jeans, black boots, add a camel colored vest and a leopard accessory. Love anything leopard (NEVER GOES OUT OF STYLE).
This look from The Girl From Panama. Classic denim dress, grey suede boots, and a sweater around the waist. Denim is here to stay so don’t tuck away your denim dresses ladies. I particularly love the use of colors. Denim, pink, ivory and grey.
This look from All Women Stalk is not for everyone. The key is to carefully look for a dress or skirt that falls just a few inches on the top of the boots for a sexy look that stands out. This look easily transfers from a day look into a night look. Classic and Bold.
This look from Lookastic. A chunky sweater, a skirt, a pop of color, and suede boots.
Another look from Lookastic. The lace up boots are bold but what I love the most is the sweater dress, the scarf, and the bag.
There are various types of over the knee boots and so many ways to create different looks. The key is to look stylish not awkward or uncomfortable, so I hope these few looks inspired you like they have inspired me. Have fun and make it your own. Follow our hashtag #GirlTalkTV, IG and Twitter @1gttv.
